Sunita Shastry has always had an interest in writing. An avid reader, “closet poet” and occasional writer; she finally came out with her debut novel. She plans to have some of these characters appear in future novels. With versatile interests, as a special educator by training she runs a not-for-profit which supports a school for children with special needs in Bangalore India. She has used her expertise in child development, special education and currently in healthy and life insurance to work in varied professional endeavors.
Currently she resides in Washington, IL with her husband. Their son is a graduate student in material science engineering. Her interests other than reading include gardening and travel.
